Kim Penn is an instructional coach, facilitator and product expert with BetterLesson for the past 4 years. Kim has over 15 years of educational leadership and coaching experience working at the district and state level. She works virtually and in-person to increase student achievement by focusing on classroom culture, social emotional learning, student engagement and effective teaching practices. Kim believes that working together through personalized coaching is the key to changing teaching practice and increasing student growth. Prior to her coaching work, Kim taught at a Title 1 school in both the primary and intermediate grades and as the Early Childhood Coordinator for a large school district in Colorado. Kim holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership, a Special Education endorsement and a Bachelors of Psychology.
