Dr. Karla Bester is an instructional coach for BetterLesson who strives to provide educators with the support needed to be successful in the world of Education. Karla believes that educators are superheroes and the glue that holds the world together. She was born into education with a family of well over 30 educators and received her initiation as a teacher through the Golen Apple Scholar Program. Karla has mentored teachers and administrators for over 20 years and is very passionate about helping others take their skills to the next level and rediscover their love for education. Karla holds a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, both from the University of Illinois. She also has a Ph.D. in Education with a focus on Training and Development Leadership from Northcentral University.
