Intentional Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is a "key component in helping schools and districts prepare students to contribute to the post-COVID-19 world". -(Schlund and Weissberg, 2020)
Provo City School District is offering the January professional development day online to address the needs of teachers in a timely way. We are partnering with BetterLesson to offer virtual learning workshops on a variety of SEL topics on January 22nd. These interactive workshops will equip you to be intentional and thoughtful about how to implement and integrate Social-Emotional Learning into the instructional day. Each teacher can select ONE two-hour workshop.
Below are the workshops we are offering on January 22nd for teachers.
Each workshop is capped at 20 participants. Please register for a session by the end of the workday on Wednesday, January 20th.
